Authentic Sources.
We don’t just teach students about the target language; we teach them to interpret real world language documents to build vocabulary and language proficiency skills. Our Authentic Vocabulary product line helps students use Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, or Spanish, language sources to complete structured, real-world tasks. In the process, students are immersed in the target culture and learn the reading, listening, and vocabulary building skills to become lifelong language learners. Our Everyday Language product line is available in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. These engaging, low-prep activities build vocabulary and cultural literacy related to pop culture and ordinary daily life.
Hands-On Grammar. Reading Comprehension made visible
Elementary math teachers use manipulatives to make abstract concepts concrete. In EXPLORE! Curriculum, we use the same principle to teach abstract grammar concepts (such as verb conjugation and adjective agreement) visible for students. Interpersonal speaking is one of the most challenging skills for teachers to incorporate. Our Conversation Templates for any language allow even novice students to develop language skills such as asking questions, responding appropriately, negotiating meaning, agreeing and disagreeing, and circumlocution.
